For starters, you must do background research on the company and about the position you're trying to fill. Next, check the media. Run searches at websites of major national as well as local news publications, plus searches at major search engines and get all the data you can about the company. Don't forget printed magazines and newspapers either. You can even call up the company and ask for additional information to fill in the gaps, without revealing that you're an interview candidate.
